Baton Rouge rapper Webbie will drop the sequel to his 2005 debut album 'Savage Life' that went gold in U.S. His new album is titled 'Savage Life 2' and will be released via Trill Entertainment on February 26.

Its first single 'Independent' feat. Lil Phat and Lil Boosie had been released on the radio late last year and had since peaked on Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at number 11. Its music video has been premiered on BET in December, featuring the direction from Chris Comeaux.

Apart from Phat and Boosie, the album also includes assistance from Bun B of UGK, Birdman, Foxx, and Young Dro. There is a plan to support this album nationally beginning late January or early February. Dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
