Channeling her diverse inner creativity, Natalie Portman is jumping on the shoe-designing bandwagon. The movie beauty has announced a new line of shoes in conjunction with Te Casan.
The collection, which she designed herself, is a vegan collection of shoes and will be available for pre-order beginning from January 15. It's not until February 2008 that the so-called "The Natalie Portman Collection" will be available online and at the NYC boutique located at 382 West Broadway.
5 per cent of all vegan shoe profits reportedly will be going to charity.
No more details, such as price, are available.
Has been a vegetarian since the age of eight and is an advocate for animal rights, Portman does not eat animal products or wear fur, feathers or leather.
As of her acting career, Portman has just completed filming drama romance "The Other Boleyn Girl" and is currently filming the drama war flick "Brothers" alongside Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal.
