David Hasselhoff was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning at a Los Angeles hospital.

AceShowbiz -

Concerning his being rushed to hospital Tuesday October 9th, TMZ.com reported that David Hasselhoff was treated for alcohol poisoning.

The Website cited sources who said Hasselhoff checked himself into Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles Tuesday after a drinking binge. He was released the next day October 10th.

"There's nothing more for me to say other than he went home last night and is doing fine," a representative for Hasselhoff tells OK! Magazine.

Speaking on whether or not Hasselhoff's relapse will affect his custody of daughters Taylor-Ann Hasselhoff and Hayley Amber Hasselhoff, his lawyer Melvin Goldsman tells People, "I don't think (Tuesday's) incident will affect David's retaining primary physical custody of his daughters, which by the way, was the court's final custody arrangement."

Meanwhile, the siblings have been living with their mother Pamela Bach for the last five weeks because Hasselhoff is on duty filming his latest project "Anaconda 3."
