Nelly is branching out, sets fourth to launch a new addition to his Pimp Juice beverage brand while at the same time marking its debut with the 3rd annual Pimp Juice P.I.M.P "Upgrade Your Life" Scholarship Competition.

The new Pimp Juice beverage brand, dubbed "Pimp Juice; the Purple Label," is an anti-oxidant/ energy drink that blends acai, ascorbic acid, grape extract, green tea extract, pear extract, pomegranate juice and yerba mate.

The new lightly-carbonated drink will be available at local stores by the end of August and at the electronic store, F.Y.E. (For Your Entertainment) across the United States. In addition to those stores, people also can purchase Pimp Juice products at Spencer’s Gifts and local convenience stores.

And to mark the launch of his new Pimp Juice beverage brand, Nelly also reveals the 3rd annual Pimp Juice P.I.M.P "Upgrade Your Life" Scholarship Competition, which as of this year will focus on a photo and essay competition concerning how the student plans to "Upgrade His/ Her Life" through education, hard work, creativity, heart, and philanthropy.

The essay should have a maximum of 1000 words and a photo with a Pimp juice can that personifies their future plans. The scholarship program will provide 4 scholarships (2 for domestic students and 2 for international students up to $5,000 per scholarship) and free product and gear for those students that finish in the Top 10.

"Luck can only get you so far in this life," Nelly commented on the scholarship. "I was able to upgrade my life with hard work and sacrifice. I hope these scholarships will enable the less fortunate to reach their goals."
