Nicole Richie talks, OK! Magazine lend its ears to hear and send the report to readers. Fresh from her interview with ABC News' Diane Sawyer, the pregnant socialite sat down with the publication, speaking about her jail sentence and motherhood.

In her interview with OK!, Nicole said she doesn't consider her past year as "one of the worst" and instead tend to perceive it as "blessing in disguise." "This year has been full of lessons learned and soul-searching. I will be really happy once I have done my jail time. I can start fresh," the reality TV star said.

She, moreover, also revealed her remorse feeling, saying "I was watching CNN about a month ago, and they happened to be talking about young people driving under the influence. They were flashing little kids (on the screen) who were killed by drunk drivers, and it broke my heart. It was a big wake-up call."

Being asked on her jail sentence, Nicole said "It was a fair, standard sentence. I expected that." On the comparison of her and BFF Paris Hilton's jail sentence, she wisely replied, "We weren't charged with the same thing. We had different judges. This isn't a popularity contest, and it's not up to people to compare my case with Paris'."
