Teen actor Josh Flitter will play the lead in the sequel to 1995's "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls."

Already composed an impressive film resume for an actor of his age, teen star Josh Flitter is now adding one more credit into the list as he has just been selected to topline Morgan Creek Productions' follow-up to the 1995 "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls."

Pic thereby will see Flitter play the son of Ace Ventura who decides to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming a pet detective for the 7th-grade set and tracking a stolen baby panda after his mother is wrongly arrested for the crime.

Filming is scheduled to start on September 17 this year in Orlando, Florida with "The Final Season" helmer David M. Evans directing from script written by Jeff Sank also Jason and Justin Heimberg. Mogan Creek topper James G. Robinson is producing alongside David Robinson while Guy McElwaine is taking the executive producer's seat.
