Last spotted working on 2003's "Agent Cody Banks", Harald Zwart now is making his way back to the director's chair as he has successfully been tapped to helm "The Pink Panther 2" for Columbia Pictures and MGM.

Continuing the adventures of Inspector Jacques Clouseau, the project once again finds Steve Martin playing the bumbling French detective while has already got its script rewritten by veteran comedy scribes Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel.

Shooting is expected to start in August this year with Robert Simonds producing and Shawn Levy executive producing. The latter, who directed the flick's predecessor, recently scored huge success through his latest effort "Night at the Museum" which so far has grossed around $572.6 million worldwide.
