Aishwarya Rai and fiance Abhishek Bachchan celebrated their wedding Friday April 20th in Mumbai.

The ceremony, a traditional Hindu wedding in which the groom rode a white horse before the pair took their vows around a sacred fire, concluded three days of celebrations at the actors' homes in India's entertainment capital of Mumbai.

Hundreds of fans cheered as Bachchan junior emerged onto the streets outside his home astride a white stallion, giving his admirers a thumbs-up sign while his friends danced around him.

The wedding, which the Bachchans have tried to keep strictly private and low-key because the groom's grandmother is ill, hyped by Indian media as "the wedding of the century."

Close friends and family attending the ceremony among others are Shammi Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Dimple Kapadia, Preity Zinta, Ness Wadia, Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar.
