LL Cool J is invading the small screen as he's joined forces with the creator of the hugely successful "CSI" franchise to develop a CBS drama titled "The Man".
On production duty, the veteran rapper partnered with CSI creator/writer Anthony Zuiker besides also being booked to star in as a cop with a busy domestic life.
The series revolves further around LL's character, an undercover LAPD officer spends the nights running sting operations to break criminal rings, and the days raising his three adopted kids, an abused boy with an aggression problem, a former streetwalker girl he put in community college and a skateboarder boy who is a recovering drug addict.
"The Man" marks LL Cool J's return as a television star since the television series "In The House", which aired on NBC and later, UPN. Zuiker will also serve as executive producer of the project, while LL Cool J and Alchemy Entertainment's Jason Barrett will produce the series.
