Glowing talents are coming down to highlight "Smart People." Dennis Quaid, Rachel Weisz, and Thomas Haden Church have been reported to give positive sign to share scenes together in the picture which will be a directorial big screen debut of Noam Murro.

Set to begin production on November 6 in Pittsburgh with Mark Poirier penning the script, the movie centers on a professor, played by Quaid, who turns into a bitter eccentric following his wife death, but later learns to reconnect with people after falling for a former student.

A Houston native, Quaid is last seen on the big screen portraying President Staton in Paul Weitz's drama comedy "American Dreamz." His next film projects include "Vantage Point" and "Shame on You." As for Weitz, the actress recently made her first official public appearance at this year's Venice Film Festival since the birth of son Henry Chance in May. Meanwhile, Church next can be seen playing Sandman in the highly anticipated "Spider-Man 3" scheduled to hit theaters by May 4, 2007.
