AceShowbiz -

According to the New York Daily News, Busta Rhymes whose real name is Trevor Smith, was arrested and investigated for assaulting a concert-goer identified as Roberto Lebron who may have spat on his car after Rhymes' 5 p.m. performance at the Heineken AmsterJam Festival that also featured Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, LL Cool J and the Foo Fighters.

Rhymes was arrested at about 8 p.m. as he and his entourage tried to flee the East River island. After being questioned for several hours, he was released.

The incident also helped the police to interview Rhymes about the fatal shooting of his bodyguard, Israel Ramirez. "I don't know if this is normally something he would even be arrested for," said a police source. "But his bouncer was killed and he didn't want to cooperate."

Ramirez was Busta' security guard during a video shoot of Rhymes' "Touch It (Remix)" at a recording studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Please refer the previous news of Fatal Shooting of Busta Rhymes' Bodyguard for information.
