After only less than three years of marriage, actress Selma Blair and husband Ahmet Zappa finally decided to live separate ways. The couple are divorcing.
Blair filed the petition in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday June 21st, 2006 citing irreconcilable differences.
Blair and Ahmet married in January 2004 at the L.A. home of actress Carrie Fisher after dating for six months. They have no children and had separated on June 17.
Though so, Blair is somehow still working on her acting career, slated to star in the indie flick "The Listening Party" with filming expected to begin early August later this year in Los Angeles. Director Jason Chuldenko will helm the film that deals with the intimacy of ex's and follows the rise and fall of Doyle, a musician whose commercial success leads to his self-destruction.
