A man filed in lawsuit, claiming Jamie Foxx is a song thief.

AceShowbiz - A man noticed as Michael A. Johnson has filed a lawsuit against Jamie Foxx, alleging the actor/singer stole one of his songs. In his lawsuit, Johnson claims Foxx's song, "Heaven" off his "Unpredictable" album, is somewhat a rearranged version of his song, "One of God's Angels is AWOL."
The realization first came up as he watched "The Oprah Winfrey Show" upon which Johnson claims "The songs are so similar that if my song was released today people would think I copied Jamie's song." Further Johnson says he copyrighted the song in 2003 and sent out a mass mailing of several of his songs in 2004. Johnson claims J-Records and Sony Records were included in the mailing. Foxx's album, in fact, was released by J-Records in December 2005.
And so, in his suit filed last March in a Michigan federal court, Johnson is demanding $15 million each from Foxx, J-Records, Sony Records, BMG/Sony Entertainment and Face Production. Meanwhile, calls to Jamie Foxx's reps were not immediately returned.
