AceShowbiz - The grand opening of the Independent Film Channel's new independent cinema hub, held Thursday night, has been celebrated by many movie-lovers, including Naomi Watts, Harvey Weinstein, John Sayles, Alfonso Cuaron and many others.
The IFC Center is located in the former Waverly Theater and an adjacent building in Greenwich Village, and houses three theaters, two editing suites and a restaurant and bar. Marking the grand opening, IFC hopes the center will serve as a focal point for the indie film community.
