Scarcely commenced their journey in music industry when they hit hard the hip-hop circuit in the mid of 2006, Gnarls Barkley has already soared pretty high as their debut album, “St. Elsewhere”, advanced to number 4 of The Billboard 200 in its eleventh week with nearly 53,000 copies sold. Continuing to hold shows around the States for the rest of July in large cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles, the group tirelessly proceeds to perform in Minneapolis, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, New York, plus Philadelphia while also sets to carry out a private show at Chicago's House of Blues in between throughout the month August as scheduled. In the meantime, several festivals joyously have been waiting for them to bring the highlight to, including those of Japan's Fuji Rock Festival on July 28 also Lollapalooza in Chicago by August 5 before they head for Stradbally, Ireland to pop up at Electric Picnic Festival alongside Pet Shop Boys and The Rapture on September 3.
