In Murder Mystery 2, Nick and Audrey Spitz, played by Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, have launched their own full-time detective agency but are struggling to find success. Their fortunes seem to change when they are invited to the extravagant wedding of their friend, the Maharaja, on his private island. The celebration is short-lived, however, when the groom is kidnapped, throwing the event into chaos and putting the newly minted detectives on the case. As they follow a dangerous trail from the island to Paris, Nick and Audrey find themselves entangled with a host of suspicious characters, including a mysterious figure played by Mark Strong, a formidable woman portrayed by Mélanie Laurent, a seemingly polished guest brought to life by Tony Goldwyn, and a sharp-witted ally played by Jodie Turner-Smith. Racing against time to solve the mystery and save their friend, the couple must navigate a web of lies, action-packed sequences, and comedic mishaps.
