Heated Pingpong
In the brief but intensely charged romance Heated Pingpong, a chance encounter at a competitive table tennis tournament...
In the shadowy, psychedelic wilderness of the Pacific Northwest, Red Miller (Nicolas Cage) lives a quiet life of love and solace with his artist partner, Mandy (Andrea Riseborough). Their peaceful existence is shattered when a deranged cult leader, Jeremiah Sand (Linus Roache), becomes obsessed with Mandy after a chance encounter, setting in motion a nightmarish chain of events. As Red is subjected to unspeakable brutality and loss, he is reborn not as a man, but as a vessel of pure, unadulterated vengeance. Directed with hallucinatory intensity by Panos Cosmatos, this film plunges into a phantasmagoric underworld of demonic bikers, arcane weapons, and cosmic horror. What follows is a surreal and blood-soaked odyssey, where Red must confront unimaginable terrors on his path of retribution, fueled by rage, love, and a primal scream that echoes through the neon-drenched night.
