Jessica Lowndes is a Canadian actress, director, singer, and songwriter, best known for her compelling portrayal of Adrianna Tate-Duncan on the popular television series 90210. Born Jessica Marie Lowndes on November 8, 1988, in Vancouver, British Columbia, she began her acting career at a young age, which laid the foundation for her later successes in the entertainment industry.
Lowndes first drew attention for her work in various television shows and films before landing her breakout role in 90210. Originally intended to be a character with a three-episode arc, Adrianna evolved into a series regular, and Lowndes captivated audiences with her portrayal of a drug-addicted teen navigating the trials of adolescence. Her performance contributed to the show's popularity, and she remained a fixture on the series for five seasons.

In 2021, Lowndes starred in the Hallmark film Mix Up in the Mediterranean, where her duet "Alive," performed with co-star Jeremy Jordan, achieved a position in the top 15 on iTunes. She also wrote and starred in Harmony from the Heart for GAF and Hulu, showcasing her ability to blend her acting and musical talents. The original song "11:11," which she wrote and produced for the film, reached #3 on the iTunes singer/songwriter chart.
Lowndes has also made a mark in the horror genre, earning recognition as a scream queen through her appearances in films such as Autopsy, The Haunting of Molly Hartley, Altitude, The Devil's Carnival, and Abattoir.
