"The Star" is an upcoming 3D computer-animated musical comedy film by Sony Pictures Animation. It is directed by Timothy Reckart, co-directed by Anthony Leondis, and produced by DeVon Franklin, Lisa Henson, and Brian Henson. The film features the voices of Steven Yeun, Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi, Keegan-Michael Key, Tim Allen, Kristin Chenoweth, Travis Tritt, Tyler Perry, and Oprah Winfrey. The Star tells the story of the Nativity of Jesus from the point of view of the animals in the stable where he was born. The film's featurette "Inside the Music 'A Great Big World'" provides a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the film's music, which was written and performed by the Grammy-nominated duo A Great Big World.
