Country trio the Dixie Chicks are to reunite for a handful of shows in summer with the Eagles and Keith Urban. Fans feared the group had split when sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Robison chose to form a new act, Courtyard Hounds, after singer Natalie Maines declined offers to hit the road with them.
But Maines is back in the fold for a series of North American shows promoted by Live Nation. The eight-date tour will begin Toronto, Canada on June 8.
Associated Press further reported that after kicking off in Toronto, Dixie Chicks and the Eagles will have Keith Urban joining them in East Rutherford, New Jersey. They will later carry on to Boston, Philadelphia, Washington and Chicago. The last two days, June 22 and June 24, Dixie Chicks and the Eagles will hit Winnipeg, Canada and St. Louis respectively.

They think like liberal rap artist. I don't think they should be involved with country music that is for true Americans.
I really hope that Natalie learned the rule about not talking about "religion or politics" - just take her own advice to "shut up and sing"
The dixie dykes back???? say it aint so....guesss they didnt get enough of a beating the last time..well...bring it on
Sure, they can say whatever they'd like. But for every action there is potentially and equal and opposite reaction. It's one thing to be a lefty liberal weenie, but it's another to just be stupid...and Natalie Maines is just that. No one will ever see her leaving a local Mensa meeting. She doesn't have the brains she was born with.
"Their anti-American attidute". That's too funny. Back then, when you expressed concern for the direction in which your country was headed, you were un-American. Today, when you do it, you're a patriotic American. Right, Tea Party hypocrites?
They are unAmerican. It cost them big time. Bite the hand that feeds you long enough and you wil be without food. I wouldn't pay a dime to see them perform. Dammed liberals!
Yeah, because expressing your opinion and exercising free speech is really anti american.
Hope they take their anti american attitude to some other country and live. Some of us have not forgotten Natalie Maines running of the mouth!
Its so great to see them out performing again!! I saw their show in 2004 and they were awesome. They're sure to be this time around, too!
