AceShowbiz - Tyrese Gibson has brought up serious allegations against his ex-wife, Norma Mitchell Gibson. In a social media post, the Roman Pearce depicter in the "Fast and Furious" film series accused his former spouse of blackmail, extortion, death threats and more.
On Tuesday, April 30, the 45-year-old shared on Instagram an image of a court order. He began his caption, "I'm finally addressing because I have to… I've read your comments so here's my response... The days of me suffering in silence and living in fear are over….. 167 pages filed in the Los Angeles courthouse."
"No lies and no goofy sh*t…. Everything in these court docs has real receipts attached….Sadly, when f€#k s**t is done to MEN it doesn't matter," he continued. "Blackmail, extortion, defamation, death threats, tax evasion forged signatures, falsified bank statements, domestic and international wire fraud.. Money laundering all the above spelled out….I got nothing to lose but my peace and sanity."
"I got it…. was born a man so none of this in these court documents will ever matter," the actor added. "Not to worry…. Don't hold your breath there will be no crying videos uploaded. Never ever forget:.. The lie will always appear to matter more than the TRUTH."
Tyrese himself has been facing a lawsuit filed by his second ex-wife, Samantha Lee. Samantha accused the singer of failing to pay child support for their daughter Soraya.
In the court document, Samantha claimed that Tyrese was mandated to cough up $10,690 for their child. However, for the months of December 2023 and January 2024, "[the actor] unilaterally decided to pay only $3,500.00 in child support."
This lawsuit marked Samantha's third motion for contempt against Tyrese, with the first being on March 2, 2023. At the time, the court held the actor in "willful contempt" over his failure to pay child support yet he repeated the same crime in July of the same year.
