AceShowbiz - Keyshia Cole didn't appreciate Lil Scrappy commenting on her love life. The singer lamented being "hurt" by the VH1 personality after he called her romance with Hunxho "fake."
The 42-year-old broke her silence after one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote on Tuesday, April 30, "You not a true @KeyshiaCole fan if you think she would be paid to have a relationship with anyone." The individual added, "You couldn't pay her to be fake. The blogs lying again."
Catching wind of the post, Keyshia responded, "And what hurts the most is SCRAPPY SAYING THAT S**T!" She went on to fume, "Naw nicca u get paid to (Fake a relationship) like U SAID like what are they even talking about. Tryna get clicks. Hopefully this helps."
Another user then asked, "Why it hurt keyshia, how long homie was on love and hiphop bout a relationship no music involved." In response, the musician explained, "Cause my momma was cool wit his momma... It's always been love, but for him to allow such craziness.. is beyond me. People be weird."
Scrappy made his comment on the "BagFuel" podcast where he also spoke to fellow rapper Khaotic. In the five-minute video, the hosts discussed Druski and Rubi Rose's alleged romance and speculated whether it is "real or fake."
While the group offered their opinions, Scrappy mentioned another couple. "So that's Keyshia Cole and Hunxho?" the TV personality said. "Right?"
It prompted Khoatic to speculate that Keyshia "probably did pay Hunxho" to act as her boyfriend. Disagreed, Scrappy elaborated, "No… the actual person don't do it, the label do it... And they actually did that with me back in the day. I had to walk around with this girl."
