After being announced as the winner of the Male Video of the Year award, the 'Son of a Sinner' singer shares a tight hug with his pal, the 'That's Texas' artist.

AceShowbiz - The 2024 CMT Music Awards has announced the winners in all categories. During a live ceremony, which took place at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas on Sunday night, April 7, the award show unveiled that Jelly Roll was the night's biggest winner.

The "Son of a Sinner" singer took home three accolades following the announcement. The 39-year-old country star was revealed as the winner of the Video of the Year award for "Need a Favor", the Male Video of the Year accolade for "Need a Favor" and the CMT Performance of the Year award for his "Need a Favor" performance from the 2023 CMT Music Awards.

When his second win of the night was announced, Jelly shared a tight hug with his pal, fellow country singer Cody Johnson. He also gave Cody a sweet kiss on the cheek after he received one from Cody, prompting the "That's Texas" singer to burst into laughter.

During his acceptance speech, Jelly told his fans, "I love you, thank you," before praising Cody for creating "one of the best music videos I've ever seen in my entire life." He went on to state, "That's my brother in real life. I love you, Cody Johnson." He continued, "Thank you to CMT, man. I couldn't believe that you all gave me a chance last year and I came back this year on fire, baby! I'm having one of the greatest nights in my life."

Aside from Jelly, other winners of the night included Lainey Wilson, who was revealed as the winner of the Female Video of the Year accolade for her "Watermelon Moonshine" music video, Dan + Shay, who bagged home the Duo/Group Video of the Year award for their "Save Me the Trouble" visuals, and Ashley Cooke, who won Breakthrough Female Video of the Year for her "your place" MV.

In addition, Warren Zeiders nabbed Breakthrough Male Video of the Year for his "Pretty Little Poison" music video. Other winners include Carly Pearce, Chris Stapleton and Scotty McCreery. Meanwhile, Trisha Yearwood was honored with CMT Music June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award.
