AceShowbiz - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly have reached out to his royal family as his father King Charles III and sister-in-law Kate Middleton are battling their respective health issues. A source reveals that the Sussexes sent their "get well messages" to the monarch and the Princess of Wales.
The source tells The Mirror that "the King and the Princess of Wales have received support from Prince Harry and Meghan regarding their health." The insider additionally spills that the couple "contacted both parties in different ways to pass on their concern and best wishes."
The new report arrives after it was reported that Kate is on recovery after undergoing a successful abdominal surgery on January 16. Describing it as a "planned" procedure, Kensington Palace shared in a statement, "The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery."
It's said that amid her hospitalization, Kate's husband Prince William wll be "Kate's rock." A source also said, "Other members of the royal family will be giving her their love and support as well. At home William will be looking after the children but of course he is ably assisted by the kids' Spanish nanny Maria Borrallo who has always been there for them. They are all very fond of her and they are in safe hands."
As for King Charles, he is set to undergo a procedure to treat an enlarged prostate. According to Queen Camilla, the 75-year-old is feeling OK and already "looking forward" to being able to resume his duties. "He's fine, thank you very much. Looking forward to getting back to work," she said when asked about the king by the Lord Provost on a visit to the Aberdeen Art Gallery on January 18.
Meanwhile, it was said that Harry found out about his father's health scare through the media. Even though Buckingham Palace insiders claimed they attempted to alert all senior members of the royal family, including Harry and his wife Meghan, the "Harry & Meghan" star allegedly knew the situation following the public announcement.
