Before finding herself under fire, the 'Selling Sunset' star shares on social media that she and her husband took their 3-month-old son to The Flipping Summit.

AceShowbiz - Heather Rae Young has landed on hot water. Soon after sharing the story of her son's easy first flight on a private jet, the "Selling Sunset" star got blasted by many of her followers over her "tone deaf" post.
The 35-year-old was met with heavy criticisms after she posted on Monday, May 1 her 3-month-old son Tristan's first experience flying. In the Instagram post, she also revealed what she and husband Tarek El Moussa did to achieve an easy flight with their baby boy.
Heather's followers, however, felt the tips she gave was unrelatable since she and her family were on a private jet. One critic in particular branded her "tone deaf" as writing in the comment section, "I love you and think you are an incredible woman, boss, mama and so many other things. You radiate positivity and inclusivity. BUT, this is tone def af."
"Private jet with help, is not an accomplishment. It's straight privilege (and your hard work) but ZERO precent relatable," the critic continued pointing out. Another one offered similar sentiment by noting, "Of course it was GREAT. Try flying commercial."
A third one similarly reminded, "Love that it went well but many moms can't relate to your flight experience on a private jet….." A fourth chimed in, "Not all Mamas have the luxury of a private plane. But good for you and your 'tips.' "
Heather's May 1 post saw the new mom sharing her experience flying for the first time with her baby boy. In the caption, she wrote, "Our little traveling boy!! Took Tristan on his first flight ever with Tay and Bray so they could be with us at The Flipping Summit and see us in our element. Tristan did such an incredible job."
"And mom-tip, I breast fed him on the way up and then again on the way down to help with ear popping- It worked perfectly and then the rest of the flight he just giggled, played and looked around and was so happy & didn't cry once," she continued.
"He loved the new environment. He also slept the longest he's ever slept at the hotel and it was great because in between speaking or in between events I would rush back to breast feed him," she added. "He was such an angel. Proud mama moment."
Heather welcomed son Tristan with husband Tarek together in January 2023. The couple tied the knot in October 2021 after being together for two years.
