Movie

It is revealed that Gru's parents actually divorced shortly after Gru and Dru were born and each of them took one son.

AceShowbiz - New "Despicable Me 3" trailer was released on Wednesday, May 24 by Universal Pictures. Like the previous trailer, this trailer puts a highlight on Gru's (voiced by Steve Carell) reunion with his long-lost villainous twin brother Dru (also voiced by Carell). In addition, there is also a glimpse of Gru and Dru's past and what separates them from each other in the first place.

"Shortly after you and your brother were born, your father and I divorced and we each took one son," says Gru's mother in the first part of the trailer. "Obviously, I've got second pick," she adds.

When Gru visits Dru's lavish mansion, Dru keeps luring Gru to be a villain he used to be. "I brought you here to continue the family business," Dru cheerfully says. "Villainy is in your blood!" he adds. Gru eventually agrees to do one last heist along with his twin brother.

New character posters have also been released, featuring various poses of Minions.

Also returning in "Despicable Me 3" is Kristen Wiig, who voices Gru's newfound love interest Lucy. The movie will also see the return of Gru's three adorable little girls Margo, Edith and Agnes, who are voiced by Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier and Nev Scharrel respectively. Gru's silly but reliable minions will also come back. Pierre Coffin will voice Kevin the Minion/Bob the Minion/Stuart the Minion/additional Minions.

"Despicable Me 3" is set to be released in U.S. theaters on June 30.
