The 'Midnight in Paris' actor is keen to explore the relationship between the God of Mischief and his sorcerer ally, adding that he 'may have even pitched it to Kevin Feige at some point.'
Since Thor has Jane Foster, it's only fair if Loki also has a love interest. And Tom Hiddleston, who plays the God of Mischief in the Marvel cinematic universe, has a certain seductress in mind regarding whom his on-screen character should romance.
The British actor said he would love to see Loki hooking up with The Enchantress, the beautiful sorceress who, in the comic books, helped Loki fend off Thor on numerous occasions. "Because she is as sneaky and as untrustworthy as he was," he reasoned.
"When I was first reading the comics, the relationship with the Enchantress was one of the really fun things I thought would be good to explore, and may have even pitched it to Kevin Feige at some point," the 32-year-old star told Total Film.
"They basically had a really fantastic and twisted relationship until they both say, 'You know what? I don't trust you as far as I can throw you. It's over.' Because they keep betraying each other, in a way. So it could be good," Hiddleston went on.
Hiddleston will reprise his role as Loki in "Thor: The Dark World". Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman are set to return as the God of Thunder and his leading lady respectively. The sequel to 2011's "Thor" is due November 8 in the United States.
