Starting at Newport Union, the local public school, Marissa adjusts to life in her new surroundings and makes some new friends, while Ryan wonders how their separation will affect their relationship. Seth's feud with Dean Hess lands Summer in trouble, but some startling new information about Taylor may turn the tables once more. Kirsten's friend Charlotte arrives in Newport with some big ideas, although Sandy mulls over the future of the Newport Group. Meanwhile, Julie may no longer be a Newport Beach socialite.
