Earl is still in a coma, but the doctors at the hospital refuse to try and pull him out of it. After desperate attempts to wake him up Randy tracks down a little boy who can cure everything with his finger. The boy refuses to help because he thinks Joy has the devil on her side, so Darnell and Randy try to prove to him that she does not. Meanwhile in the sitcom form Earl gets a promotion but will have to leave town for good to have it. Has Earl's bad karma gotten the best of him? Will he find the strength to survive his coma?
