Annie's super-fun cousin Scooby is in town, and she is unreasonably excited. Scooby, who legally changed his name from Barry Scooberstein, is a cruise director, so he's rarely in port. He's the life of the party and is known as the wedding whisperer for his ability to turn a so-so wedding into the social event of the year.

Meanwhile, Gil's got problems - more so than usual. His apartment is getting fumigated because he has fleas from that alley cat he fought. He tries to convince the group to do a Law & Order marathon, but they're all busy. Gil is bummed they all have adult lives and he's "single, unemployed and inexplicably two inches shorter than last year," so to cheer him up, Kay and Dennah offer to play basketball with him the next day.

That night, Jake, Annie and the Kevins meet the infamous Scooby for dinner, where Annie and Kevin 2 get to talking about their upcoming weddings. Things take a turn for the awkward when the brides learn they're both eyeing the same bouquet and centerpieces. It gets even worse when Scooby announces he only has one more shore leave this year, so he can only attend one of their weddings. They agree not to fight over Scooby and let him choose which wedding he'll go to, so of course as soon as the Kevins leave, Annie invites Scoobs to stay with them... and help himself to any of Jake's clothing.

Not to be outdone, the Kevins kidnap Scooby the next morning for an impromptu suit-shopping spree. When Annie finds out, she is livid and ready for an all-out bride war. She races to the store to vie for Scooby face-to-face. Jake and Kevin 1 look on helplessly as Kevin 2 offers to pay for his travel expenses and offers him the role of best man at their wedding, while Annie announces she wants Scooby to officiate her big day.

Meanwhile, Gil is sitting all alone at the basketball court - he's been ditched by Kay and Dennah, who got sucked into a Law & Order marathon and lost track of time. Sad and alone, Gil ends up befriending a pack of 6th graders, who are impressed when he spins the ball into his face, giving himself a nasty nosebleed. When Kay and Dennah realize what time it is, they race to the playground, only to find Gil is gone. They do, however, find a clue: Gil's bloody T-shirt. They call him up to apologize, but he refuses to answer - he's hanging with his new best friends.

That's when Kay and Dennah tap into their inner Lennie Briscoe. They realize that if they had his password, they could track his cell phone, and since his password is password... they quickly find him at a laser tag place with his group of boy soldiers.

"I made some awesome new friends," Gil explains. "Sure, they're children, but I'm basically succeeding in life at a sixth grade level right now anyway, so it plays."

The girls apologize for falling into a Law & Order wormhole and promise to always be there for him. Gil then turns to break up with his new besties, but finds the kids have already run off and forgotten him.

That night at dinner, Annie and Kevin 2 continue to sweep Scooby off his feet, while Jake and Kevin 1 brainstorm ways to end the insanity. Suddenly, Jake has a solution: He suggests they do a double wedding - that way they can share the bouquets, the centerpieces, Scooby - and the spotlight. The bridezillas are trapped - they have to agree.

Annie pulls Jake aside to freak out about not wanting a double wedding. But it's all part of Jake's plan - he knows the Kevins can't possibly want a double wedding either, so the first person to admit they don't want it is also willing to lose Scooby! So Annie must pretend to love the double wedding idea until Kevin 2 cracks.

Back at the table, Annie and Kevin 2 start one-upping each other, suggesting sharing an anniversary, an invitation, a four-way first dance, a double honeymoon... until Annie snaps and runs off. Kevin 2 finds her at the bar and apologizes for his actions.

"My behavior has been Michael Lohan-level unfatherly," he admits.

"It's okay, I've been Dance Moms-level daughter bad," Annie says, adding that she's been dreaming about her wedding since she was a little girl, but has always imagined her fathers helping her plan it, not planning their own at the same time. She's also always wished her dads could get married - mostly so she could be the flower girl and get lots of attention. But also because she wants them to be happy.

Kevin 2 insists Annie has Scooby at her wedding and gives her her wedding present early, saying, "We have chosen you to be our flower girl. Our grown, adult woman flower girl."

It's a beautifully weird moment, followed by a weird night, as the whole gang heads to a secret underground Latin karaoke club Scooby invited them to.

Dun dun.
