Missing Persons Notice The Inquisitor wishes to spread word of the recent disappearance of Lord Laurent, who went missing this past week. Lord Laurent is a prominent member of British society and, until recently, was a key stakeholder in the British Imperial Lubricant and Cooling Company. Laurent recently sold his shares in the company to Mr. Alexander Grayson for an undisclosed sum, making Grayson the key stakeholder in the energy company.

The disappearance is not the only tragedy to befall stakeholders of the prominent energy company this week. It's been reported that Daniel Davenport, the son of the honorable Lord Davenport, was found dead in his chambers, the result of a self-inflicted revolver wound. Along with the body, investigators discovered a letter placing the blame for his death on Mr. Alexander Grayson. However, investigators have thus far struggled to draw a connection between Grayson and the death of young Davenport or the disappearance of Lord Laurent.

Miss Murray's Soiree Spree Recently un-engaged Miss Mina Murray has been spotted gallivanting about town with her best friend, Lucy Westenra. The two were seen at a number of after-hours imbibing establishments over the weekend, where they celebrated with fellow patrons until the wee hours of the morning.

Lady Jane Wetherby's Secret Basement It appears that there may be more to the ever-affluent Lady Jayne Wetherby than meets the eye. An unnamed source reports the recent discovery of a secret basement in the Wetherby mansion containing a formal combat training facility, which Lady Jayne apparently frequents as a form of exercise. Might this facility be connected to the recent reports of Lady Jayne prowling the streets of London at night in search of evildoers? Only time will tell.

Opium Den Massacre Shocks Neighborhood Scotland Yard reports that a horrific double-murder took place at a local London opium den last night. The Blues report that two bodies were discovered in an unfrequented back room of the establishment, their skulls mercilessly bashed in with a blunt object, likely a hammer of some sort.

Eyewitnesses placed one Dr. Abraham Van Helsing at the scene around the time of the murders, but routine interviews turned up no reasonable suspicion regarding the doctor's involvement. Of note, however, is news that Dr. Van Helsing ordered a generous supply of a particular sedative from the local asylum. Just what is Dr. Van Helsing up to, and what is his involvement with the mysterious Mr. Grayson, to whom Van Helsing has been making frequent visits as of late? Fear not, brave readers, for our reporters are on the case!
