We at The Inquisitor have received a number of hushed reports in recent days from women who have had detailed dreams (of a rather unmentionable nature) involving one Mr. Alexander Grayson, the mysterious American business mogul who has recently taken the city by storm. Apparently, the opulent young bachelor is seizing the hearts (and minds) of the ladies of London by night. From the trollops of the Thames to the matrons of Manchester, it seems every lark in Londontown has Grayson on the brain!

Carfax Manor recently played host to the engagement party of Miss Mina Murray and former Inquisitor reporter Jonathan Harker, and our sources claim that the gala was attended by all of the upper crust of London high society. Unfortunately, our invitations from our dear friend, Mr. Harker, must have been misplaced in the post, for nary a single invite was to be seen in our offices prior to the event.

Nonetheless, the evening was predictably chock-full of happenings, the most vibrant of which was an honorable dance between the bride-to-be, Miss Murray, and the host of the event, Mr. Grayson. The party took a bit of a downturn during the dance, as many attendees reported being shocked by Grayson's seemingly uncontrollable seductive prowess on the dance floor.

The ever-elusive Dr. Abraham Van Helsing continues to conduct mysterious experiments within the walls of Grayson's Carfax Manor, and it seems that Grayson's affairs are not solely focused on business and technology matters. Sources report that Van Helsing has been practicing mysterious medical experiments in the Carfax basement, but as of yet, no test subjects have revealed themselves. Just what are Grayson and Van Helsing up to, and when (if ever) shall we, the London public, become privy to the knowledge and advances that the two pioneers are pursuing? Only time will tell.

Scotland Yard recently received word of a missing person's report in regards to Mr. Alexander Grayson's trusted accomplice, Mr. R.M. Renfield, who vanished several days prior. An insider informs us that Grayson first met his right-hand man on the lawless plains of the great American Midwest, when Renfield rescued Grayson from a business deal gone awry. Moments later, Grayson returned the favor by reportedly saving Renfield's life, and the two have since been inseparable.

Officials suspect that Renfield was abducted by an old business rival from Grayson's clouded past, but the investigation was called off when, only a few days after his disappearance, Renfield was returned to Mr. Grayson significantly damaged, but alive.

Rumors have been circulating as of late in regards to a mysterious cult, which some refer to only as The Order, that lurks in the shadows of London by night. The reports are wide-ranging and colorful, to say the least. Some sources claim that The Order is comprised of the most upper crust elite of British society, created generations ago for the purpose of controlling the business and industrial relations of the entire globe.

Other claims are still more absurd: that The Order has existed with the sole objective of eradicating a scourge of mythical vampires once and for all. Or is it possible, as some of our reporters suggest, that The Order, rather than battling the fabled bloodsucking monsters, is actually comprised of the mythical cretins themselves?

As of yet, all sources have proven themselves to be less than trustworthy, but our intrepid reporters will continue to unearth the truth surrounding the mysterious Order (along with any concrete evidence that the cabal even exists). As always, The Inquisitor is on the case!
