"I know what you did. It makes me sick. I'm going to tell." If you remember, these are the words Bree found on a note that was left in her mailbox. If you remember, these are the same words Mary Alice Young found on a similar menacing message in her mailbox shortly before she decided to kill herself.

Bree visits Paul Young in prison to confront him about the note. The problem is he's not the mystery author who sent it. The two of them rattle off a list of people who knew about the original letter Mary Alice received. Paul is surprised to learn that Bree hasn't mentioned this new note to her friends. He believes that if Mary Alice had confided in them when she got her note, things may have turned out a whole different way.

New neighbor Ben Faulkner is impressed when Mike fixes his busted pipe at no charge. The first guy he called tried to rip him off big time. That's probably why Ben offers the trustworthy Mike a job on a real estate venture he has brewing. A background check reveals Mike's past time in jail. He thinks it cost him the job. But Ben knows the details behind the crime and assures Mike that he could still use a guy like him.

Renee buddies up to Mrs. McCluskey when she discovers new neighbor Ben has a soft spot for the elderly. The plan seems to work when a dinner date is made. Unfortunately for Renee, she's not the one dining. No, she's asked to serve meals to the elderly. Renee realizes Ben was mocking her. The two of them eventually have a heart-to-heart to discover that they both have survived rough patches in life. Well, what do you know? Turns out they actually do have something in common.

Lynette is upset because the kids are having such a great time whenever they are with Tom. That's because he never says no to their requests. When Parker gets invited to what will likely be a wild party, neither of his folks want to play bad cop. So, he makes his way over to the rager and gets really drunk. After Tom and Lynette hose the vomit off their intoxicated son, they realize they can't compete to win the affections of their kids anymore.

It's been 38 days since Gaby has had sex. Her unenviable streak isn't ending anytime soon since Carlos is having performance issues. Gaby wants to learn pole dancing in order to spice up their sex life. She doesn't have time to learn all the gravity-defying moves her scantily-clad teacher provides, so she hires the professional stripper to help rev up her hubby's engine before she hops into the driver's seat. The seduction plan fails magnificently, as Carlos simply can't pretend everything is okay.

After Susan accidently leaves the grocery store without paying for some soda, she demands the store's eager young security guard drag her inside in handcuffs. It's her way of dealing with the guilt of that little homicide secret she's been keeping. In fact, Susan goes great lengths to do things that will get her punished. She even goes so far as to push over a cop's motorcycle. The one friend she can call to bail her out of jail is Carlos, as he seems to be the only other person having a truly difficult time dealing with the guilt of their secret.

Bree shows Gaby the note. She believes they should keep this info just between them. She also advises Bree to break up with Chuck. It's just too risky having a cop as a constant part of their lives. It looks as though the handsome Detective Vance is headed for dumpsville until Bree gets a call from Paul Young.

Paul says he mentioned Mary Alice's note to the police when he confessed to the murder of Martha Huber. The name of the main detective was a tall guy with a short name. If you're guessing that name is Chuck Vance, then give yourself a gold star. Guess there's no way Bree can break up with the guy now.
