Susan finally takes a look at the baby blanket she got at Paul's garage sale and notices it's embroidered with the name "Dana," the same name Zach told Julie. She gets all dressed up for her first official date with Mike and can't resist boasting to Edie as she walks by her house. But Mike has an unexpected house guest, a pretty young woman named Kendra, so he cancels. It turns out Mike is investigating the disappearance of Kendra's sister, who was last seen at the Saddle Ranch. Edie tells Susan she overheard Mike and Kendra say they were going to a cowboy bar for drinks, so the two rivals follow them there. When Mike sees Susan, she tries to convince him she's not following him by saying she's just there to ride the mechanical bull. But klutzy Susan gets knocked off her feet by the bull before she even gets on. While Mike fetches some ice for Susan's head, Kendra tells her to ask Mike why he really moved to Wisteria Lane.

Edie meets with Paul about selling his house. When Paul sees her stationery, he realizes it's exactly like the blackmail note. He meets with his P.I. and is told his options: "For five grand, she's hurt, for 10 grand, she's gone." The P.I. sees Edie out at the bar and makes his move.

Tom tells Lynette he has a great idea for a new ad campaign and that he intends to pitch it to his boss at their house -- during a formal dinner that she has to organize for the day after tomorrow. He tells his indignant wife, "Bree Van de Kamp does this kind of thing all the time." She starts running out of steam - and Ritalin - so she resorts to stealing some from a friend. The dinner is going swimmingly, but when Tom starts to pitch, Lynette chimes in with a better idea that the client likes more. Tom is furious with Lynette and accuses her of trying to undermine him. She says she's just trying to compete with the Bree Van de Kamps of the world.

Gabrielle tells John they can meet since Mama Solis isn't following her anymore, but he's reluctant and says he has a date with Danielle. Seeing them both talk on their cell phones, a suspicious Mama grabs Gabrielle's phone, hits redial and gets John. Her suspicions are confirmed. When John hears that Gabrielle is conniving to get Danielle out of the way by sponsoring her for a modeling school in New York, he breaks up with her. She makes him promise to have a "proper goodbye" and fakes being sick to stay home while Carlos and his mother go out. Mama Solis shows up in a cab with a camera and catches Gabrielle in bed with John. She takes a picture and runs out to the cab - and is struck by a speeding car! Gabrielle goes out to find her lying unconscious in the street. She tells John to go home, asks the cabbie to dial 911, and then takes the camera from her mother-in-law.

Rex drops a bombshell on Bree -- he's gone to a divorce lawyer. When they tell the kids about the divorce, Andrew says he wants to live with his father and Danielle says she doesn't care who she lives with, as long as she has her own bathroom. Rex surprises the kids with gifts: a car for Andrew and Danielle can go to the modeling academy. Bree is livid. When the kids get back from their ride in Andrew's new car, Bree has put all their possessions out on the front yard and informs them she has changed the locks and they can go live with their father -- unless they give back his gifts. Andrew goes out drinking with his friends after Rex says he has to stay with his mother. When Bree comes in to tell him about the car accident, he's in the kitchen, crying, and she realizes he was the hit-and-run driver. Bree calls Rex and tells him he needs to come home.
