Our team is called to investigate the death of three men who were brutally beaten to death within a 24 hour period in the Tulsa area. The bodies, which were scattered at different locations, were all young men in their late 20s. Our unsub is on a killing spree and demonstrates some deep seeded rage and won't stop until he's either killed or takes his own life. Autopsy photos reveal that our unsub is becoming angrier by the increasing violence in his kills. Our unsub kills a hiker and is about to leave the location when the victim's cell phone rings and our unsub answers it telling the victim's mother that was sorry. Cooper and his team convince the grieving mother to reach out to our unsub, via a news conference, to plea for him to turn himself in. Things get even more complicated when our unsub changes his MO and kills a 60 year old man. He's transferred his anger from a 20 year old to possibly himself by killing someone closer to his age. Our unsub, Lionel Keane, turns out to be the father of a young serial killer who was eventually murdered in prison. The stigma of being the father of a killer took a huge toll on Lionel as people around town and at his job would treat him like a pariah. Michael Coleman, whose daughter was killed by Lionel's son, has been constantly harassing Lionel since his daughter's death. Lionel's wife had nervous breakdown and was subsequently institutionalized. Things worsen for Lionel when he loses his job after assaulting a co-worker. In the end Lionel shows up at Michael's house hoping that Michael shots him.
