Community Episode 1.17 Physical Education

Jeff walks into study group looking extra chic, sporting a leather jacket and boots. He's dressed for the special occasion of starting billiards class.

When Britta knocks over a bag of bagels that Shirley brought in for the group to enjoy, everyone realizes that Britta can't properly pronounce the word "bagel." After several laughs at her expense, they all continue studying.

Troy discovers a hand-drawn picture in his Spanish textbook that looks exactly like Abed with hearts all around it. In Spanish class, the group approaches Senor Chang to find out who had the book before he did. Once they learn it was Jenny Adams, they are determined to introduce Abed to her.

Jeff starts shooting pool when Coach Bogner comes into class and hands out the Greendale PE outfits for everyone to put on. In the cafeteria, the gang encourages Abed to approach Jenny and introduce himself. They urge him to be himself, but when that doesn't go well, they decide a new approach is needed.

Jeff re-enters billiards class in his PE uniform and after almost exposing himself, he quickly returns to the locker room to change back into his clothes. He then approaches Coach Bogner, returns his PE uniform, and things get heated between the two. Jeff is confident he could beat the coach at a game of pool, but the coach won't play him unless he's in shorts.

The gang tries to help Abed with the ladies by suggesting he be someone different. So, Abed takes on another personality to satisfy the gang's desire to help him. Jeff walks in on them trying to help Abed and tries to reiterate his initial lesson that Abed is perfect just the way he is.

With a new "character" in mind, Abed approaches Jenny in the cafeteria as planned, but is interrupted by Jenny's boyfriend�¢â�¬�¦ a white version of Abed that the gang quickly dubs "White Abed."

The gang fills Jeff in on the Jenny details from the day before and the discovery of White Abed. Abed, however, is not fazed by the Jenny situation. After listening to Abed's speech about being okay changing a little to make others feel good because he is confident in who is really is, Jeff decides to take Coach Bogner's challenge - in shorts.

Coach Bogner and Jeff battle back and forth on the pool table while students from GCC gather around to watch. Jeff appears to be leading the game, but then the coach makes his move.

In a final attempt to win the pool game, the Coach and Jeff, who had already stripped down to their underwear, now rip those off and finish the battle in the nude.

In the end, Jeff comes out victorious. After the win, Coach Bogner shows his love for Jeff by sharing a celebratory kiss. After that awkward moment, Jeff celebrates his win with the gang wearing a Greendale flag until he gets his clothes back.

Courtney, a student from Jeff's billiards class, asks Jeff to introduce her to Abed. But, Jeff encourages her to introduce herself, which she promptly goes to do.
