AceShowbiz - R&B beauty Rihanna has gone public about the beatings she experienced at the hands of her estranged father when she was growing up, revealing he once hit her so hard he left a hand imprint on her face. The "Umbrella" hitmaker has rarely spoken fondly of her father and recently took aim at him for talking to the press after she was assaulted by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in 2009.

But in a new Rolling Stone interview the star admits her resentment towards her father stems back to her childhood - and there's one beating she'll never forget. She tells the publication, "He slapped me so hard. I ran home with his handprint on me. I couldn't believe it. My mother saw my face, how traumatized I was."

In the interview, Rihanna also talked about her BFF Katy Perry. "It's disgusting how gorgeous she is," RiRi gushed.
