AceShowbiz - The cast of "The Social Network" will be the guests of honor at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in California next month, on January 8, 2011. They have been named as the recipients of the 2011 Ensemble Performance Award.
Actors Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake will be among the stars taking to the podium at the annual event in January, when director David Fincher presents them with the top prize.
The awards gala will kick off what is sure to be a big season for "The Social Network" - the story of Facebook.com has already scooped a host of honors from film critics associations across the U.S., as well as picking up six Golden Globe nominations, including recognition for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Screenplay.
