The "Sexy Beast" star's career stalled in the 1980s and he was forced to file for bankruptcy twice as he spiraled into debt.

But the Brit takes full responsibility for his woes, admitting he enjoyed spending his cash too much to worry about it running out. He says, "I just didn't know how to handle money. It was my fault. I wasn't earning a lot of money. When I worked, I was just spending it. It was a laugh, you know."

"But I've never really worried about anything, you know. That's my trouble, I don't get stressed. If I did, I'd have probably not got into that situation in the first place."
