AceShowbiz - Samantha Ronson has blasted Joan Rivers for taking aim at her troubled ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan, telling the comedienne to "pick on someone" her own age. The DJ was fuming to read Rivers' rant against the "Mean Girls" star on Twitter.com on Friday, July 9, in which the funnywoman wrote, "Lindsay Lohan is so dumb. Her idea of being sworn in is cursing at the judge."
Ronson stepped up to defend Lohan, from whom she split last year, declaring: "Hey Joan Rivers. You have collagen older than Lindsay, pick on someone your own age, oh wait I guess people that old can't hear." Ronson's support for Lohan touched the actress, who later 're-Tweeted' the message with the response: "Thank you".
Lohan was sentenced to serve 90 days behind bars earlier this week for violating the terms of her probation on a 2007 DUI arrest. She is due to surrender to authorities on July 20 to begin her stint at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California.
