AceShowbiz - Cameron Diaz has revealed she wasn't a virgin when she hooked up with her first real boyfriend, video director Carlos de la Torre, while modeling in Japan at 16. In a candid new Playboy interview, the actress admits she lost her virginity "to get it over with" and then felt "the gates were open" to her - and she went wild when she first left home to model.

Asked if she had already been with a guy before she met De La Torre, Diaz says, "Yes! Oh my God, no - I don't want my mom to know. Actually, f**k it. I had already had sex. I had a lot of encounters that weren't 'going all the way' but were fun and made me very enthusiastic and excited about the possibilities."

"Japan was great. I had my own apartment. I met somebody I ended up hanging out with. It was amazing to be young and free and have all those experiences."
