The high-profile project is loosely adapted from Paul Warner’s debut novel A Spy In the Blood and created by Emmy-winning writer Jack Thorne, known for the Netflix series Adolescence. In this espionage thriller, Harbour portrays Matt Wolfe, a disgraced FBI agent turned security expert who is pulled back into the espionage world when his estranged daughter Rebecca, played by Brown, disappears during a mission. Brown’s character is an FBI agent determined to follow in her father’s footsteps, making their father-daughter dynamic a central thread once again. Alongside Brown, Harbour, and Thorne, executive producers include Jake Bongiovi, Robert Brown, Joe Hipps, Patrick McDonald, and KC Wenson, with production handled by A24.

Millie Bobby Brown first rose to fame as Eleven in Stranger Things, a role that earned her multiple award nominations and widespread acclaim. She has since expanded her career with credits including the Enola Holmes franchise, where she also serves as a producer, as well as roles in films like Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs. Kong. Harbour is known for his portrayal of Hopper in Stranger Things and has recently appeared in HBO’s dark comedy series DTF St. Louis. He is also slated to appear in upcoming films such as the MCU’s Avengers: Doomsday.
