AceShowbiz - Kim Scott, known as Eminem’s former partner, is encountering serious legal issues following her second DUI arrest within five months.
On May 13, in Chesterfield Township near Detroit, Kim Scott, 51, was taken into custody after reportedly crashing into a parked car. Police found her visibly impaired at the scene, noting slurred speech, unsteady movements, and a strong odor of alcohol.
According to TMZ, Scott admitted to drinking earlier that evening. A preliminary breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .204, which is more than two and a half times Michigan’s legal limit of .08.
Further chemical testing at the police station returned BAC readings of .176 and .181, both significantly exceeding the legal threshold and indicating a high level of intoxication at the time of the incident.
This latest arrest comes just days after Scott appeared in court on May 10, pleading no contest to charges related to a February crash. That earlier case involved impaired driving and failure to report an accident after she allegedly hit a parked vehicle, with her son and his friends reportedly inside the car at the time.
Following the initial collision, she also crashed into her own garage door while driving home. The sentencing for that February DUI case is set for June, though it remains uncertain how the new charges will influence the upcoming court proceedings.
Bodycam footage from the recent arrest shows officers discovering bottles containing a mixture of soda and alcohol inside Scott’s vehicle. Although she has been released from custody, she now faces multiple legal challenges as both DUI cases progress through Michigan’s legal system.
The combination of two DUI arrests in such a short timeframe highlights the severity of Kim Scott’s current legal troubles and the potential consequences she may face moving forward.
