AceShowbiz - Andy Cohen has addressed the swirling rumors suggesting he was aware of the unfolding relationship drama between Amanda Batula and West Wilson on Summer House. Speaking candidly on his SiriusXM radio show, the Watch What Happens Live host firmly denied any prior knowledge of the couple’s romance before it became public.
"I saw a lot of conspiracy theories online yesterday that I somehow knew about this," Cohen said. "I did not." His statement came amid growing speculation from fans and followers that he had inside information, which he quickly dismissed.
The revelation of the relationship between Amanda Batula and West Wilson came just two months after Amanda and her estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, announced their separation. Adding complexity to the storyline, the current season of the Bravo series shows West attempting to rekindle a relationship with Ciara Miller, who is a close friend of Amanda’s.
Cohen expressed sympathy for Ciara, saying, "I really feel for Ciara." The unexpected romance announcement was made by Amanda and West in a joint statement released on March 31, where they described their relationship as "very new."
Despite the public statement, Cohen admitted he remains puzzled. "I was surprised by the statement," he said. "I was surprised by what it said and I was surprised by what it didn’t say." Fortunately, Cohen will have a chance to explore these questions further when he hosts the upcoming Summer House reunion special. "I have so many questions," he revealed. "Boy, do I have a lot of questions."
Since the news broke, insiders have come forward claiming the relationship has been going on for months, possibly even over a year. Meanwhile, it was also disclosed that West was involved in an exclusive relationship with another woman who was shocked by his public announcement, as she believed they were still together.
Adding to the tension, Kyle Cooke has spoken out, accusing West of pursuing Amanda during a vulnerable period in her life. In an Instagram video posted recently, the Loverboy founder described the deep friendship he shared with West before the betrayal. "We traveled to Toronto, we traveled to the Ozarks. I was at his parents’ house. I was riding horses at his dad’s ranch," Cooke explained. "There’s some wild betrayal here."
The drama continues to unfold as fans await the reunion episode, where much of the tangled relationship history is expected to be addressed by the cast and hosted by Cohen.
