Kanye West's European tour collapses as nations cancel shows, but Prague confirms a July 25 concert at Chuchle Arena.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West has secured a concert date in Prague for July 25 amid the widespread collapse of his European tour.
The Chuchle Arena racecourse officially confirmed the upcoming performance through director Zuzana Rambova on Thursday, with HUGO Production company managing the booking arrangements. However, this lone confirmed show stands in stark contrast to the rest of the European tour, which has faced numerous cancellations and postponements throughout June and July.
Notably, the UK has rejected Kanye West entirely, resulting in the cancellation of three scheduled Wireless Festival appearances in London. In Marseille, the mayor publicly declared that Kanye West is unwelcome, prompting the postponement of his June concert there. Other countries have followed suit, with Poland and Switzerland canceling his shows as well.
According to KPVI, the Dutch government remains the sole European nation not blocking West from performing in early June, making it one of the few remaining stops on his tour that might proceed as planned.
This is not West's first attempt to play in Prague. The city had previously rejected him after local residents protested his past festival appearance. Nearly 15,000 individuals signed a petition demanding the city block West due to his song titled “Heil Hitler,” along with Nazi merchandise and the glorification of Nazi crimes.
Prague’s deputy for culture, Ji?í Pospíšil, stated plainly, "Prague is not a place to celebrate Nazism. We experienced the horrors of World War II firsthand, and now we should not give space to people who glorify these crimes. I am strongly against Kanye West performing in Prague. A person who does not hide his admiration for Hitler has no business in Prague."
The 48-year-old Grammy winner has also faced visa revocation in Australia. The Department of Home Affairs canceled his visa specifically because of the controversial “Heil Hitler” track. His conduct led to the cancellation of a Slovakian hip-hop festival he was set to headline last year, driven by thousands petitioning against his participation.
Throughout his career, Kanye West has won 24 Grammy Awards, but his recent statements and releases have rendered him a pariah across much of Europe.
Aside from the Prague date, Madrid remains the only other confirmed European concert still scheduled to take place.
