AceShowbiz - The The Traitors India franchise is expanding its reach as the BBC has acquired streaming rights for the popular Indian edition. Following its strong performance on Amazon Prime Video, the BBC will now host the Hindi-language version of the show on BBC iPlayer.
This addition complements the existing international versions of The Traitors, which include U.S., Irish, and Australian editions. The BBC also streams the original UK series, famously hosted by Claudia Winkleman.
The Indian adaptation is hosted by Karan Johar and features 20 celebrities, including Anshula Kapoor, Apoorva, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Nourouzi, and Harsh Gujral. Set in a stunning palace in Suryagarh, Rajasthan, the show revolves around a game of trust and betrayal among the contestants.
A second season of The Traitors India is currently in production exclusively for Prime Video. The series is executive produced by Neha Khurana and directed by Nishant Nayak, ensuring the continuation of its signature drama and intrigue.
