AceShowbiz - Ella Langley is achieving major milestones on Billboard’s charts dated April 25, propelled by the success of her latest album, Dandelion.
Released on April 10 through SAWGOD/Columbia Records, Dandelion debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earning 169,000 equivalent album units in the United States during its first week (April 10-16), according to Luminate data. This marks the first time Langley has topped the Billboard 200, and her album logged the highest weekly total for a female artist this year as well as the largest one-week tally for a women-led country album since Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter earlier in 2024.
Simultaneously, Langley climbed two spots to claim the No. 1 position on the Billboard Artist 100 chart, marking her first time leading this ranking. She becomes only the fourth woman to reach No. 1 on the Artist 100 in its 12-year history with a country album, joining Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, and Megan Moroney. Carrie Underwood previously held the spot for a week in September 2018, while Swift topped the chart multiple times with her re-recorded country projects Red and Fearless. Moroney was the most recent female country artist to reach No. 1 on the Artist 100, achieving this milestone last month.
Langley has also placed 15 songs from Dandelion on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, led by the seven-week No. 1 hit "Choosin' Texas." Below is a detailed list of her entries, noting all are debut positions except where indicated with a new peak:
No. 1, "Choosin' Texas" (seventh week at No. 1)
No. 4, "Be Her" (up from No. 8; new high)
No. 20, "Bottom of Your Boots"
No. 21, "Loving Life Again" (up from No. 38; new high)
No. 27, "Dandelion" (up from No. 46; new high)
No. 53, "Broken"

No. 55, "You & Me Time"
No. 62, "Low Lights"
No. 63, "Speaking Terms"

No. 75, "Somethin' Simple"
No. 76, "Last Call for Us"
No. 80, "I Gotta Quit"
No. 83, "It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels"
By concurrently leading the Artist 100, Hot 100, and Billboard 200 charts, Langley becomes just the sixth woman to achieve this triple chart dominance since the Artist 100’s inception in 2014. She joins a prestigious group that includes Taylor Swift, Adele, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, and Olivia Rodrigo. Earlier this year, Swift reached this milestone on the January 10 chart date, while Bruno Mars also led all three charts on March 14.
Langley is also the 11th woman this century to top the Billboard 200 with a country album. Here is a chronological list of women and all-female acts who have achieved this feat with country albums that have appeared on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart:
