The Hunting Party hits No. 3 with 1.29B minutes streamed on Netflix & Peacock. New episodes air Thursdays on NBC. Will there be a Season 3?
- April 18, 2026
AceShowbiz - The Hunting Party surged to the No. 3 spot on the Nielsen streaming charts for the week of February 16-22, following the release of its first season on Netflix on February 15. The NBC drama, which has 14 episodes available across both Netflix and Peacock, accumulated an impressive 1.29 billion viewing minutes during that period.
Despite this strong showing, The Hunting Party trails behind the top two streaming programs: The Night Agent, which logged 1.83 billion minutes across 30 episodes, and The Lincoln Lawyer with 1.53 billion minutes across 40 episodes. New episodes of The Hunting Party air Thursday nights at 10 p.m. on NBC, with Season 2 set to resume on April 2. However, the network has not yet announced whether the series will be renewed for a third season.
Rounding out the overall Top 10 streaming list for the same week were a mix of originals and acquired titles. Love Is Blind ranked fourth with 1.22 billion minutes over 132 episodes, followed by The Pitt with 1.15 billion minutes across 22 episodes, and Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model at 1.07 billion minutes for three episodes. Other shows included Bluey (856 million minutes across 154 episodes), The Big Bang Theory (780 million minutes over 281 episodes), Bridgerton (753 million minutes across 28 episodes), and Grey’s Anatomy (695 million minutes across 459 episodes).
When factoring out acquired series, the standings shifted slightly: Love Is Blind, The Pitt, and Reality Check took third through fifth place respectively, followed by Bridgerton, Stranger Things with 615 million minutes across 42 episodes, The Traitors (615 million minutes across 46 episodes), Cross (533 million minutes across 12 episodes), and Veronica Mars with 491 million minutes over 77 episodes. Notably, the fourth season of Veronica Mars, previously exclusive to Hulu, became available on Netflix as of February 18.
As The Hunting Party continues to attract viewers on streaming platforms and broadcast, the decision on its future remains pending from NBC.
