On Thursday, the reality TV personality posted an Instagram video expressing confusion and frustration over the network’s choice to halt the season. The season was set to premiere but ABC decided to pull the plug after Paul became embroiled in controversy related to a domestic dispute.

Bethenny Frankel questioned ABC’s decision to cast Paul, pointing out that the network was aware of her history. “It doesn’t make any sense because they knew about her domestic violence past,” she said. Frankel alleged that ABC intentionally hired Paul seeking “controversy and redemption” to boost ratings.

She predicted that production crew members will be critical in uncovering the full story. “The crew, they’re the ones rising, cause they’ve witnessed it all, made to be quiet about it all,” Bethenny Frankel said.
