AceShowbiz - Kanye West did not let a travel ban from the UK stop him from reaching fans abroad on Friday.
The rapper was removed from the lineup of the Wireless Festival after the UK Home Office denied his entry application. Despite losing his headline slot, Kanye West quickly responded by sharing Instagram footage of Chinese schoolchildren performing his new track "All The Love." The song is a collaboration with Talkbox artist Andre Troutman and is featured on his latest album "Bully."
The children, led by their teacher Miho—who has gained a large online following for her students' accurate and engaging covers of modern urban songs—delivered a polished rendition of the track. Their performance was posted just hours after the festival announced Kanye West's removal.
The Home Office rejected Kanye West's travel authorization on grounds that his presence would not be "conducive to the public good," referencing his past use of antisemitic imagery and statements. This decision received strong public support from Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who insisted the rapper should never have been invited.
The ban ultimately caused the full cancellation of Wireless Festival, leaving thousands of ticket holders scrambling for refunds.
While the UK government was enforcing the ban, Kanye West appeared unfazed. That same evening, he performed an impromptu set at The Lab At Hollywood Improv in Los Angeles alongside comedian Ocean Glapion and actor Deon Cole. The audience treated him like royalty, with Glapion later calling the night “one of the most amazing and memorable” and dubbing Kanye West a “modern day Michael Jackson.”
